PLG is the top-rated law firm of its kind in the Pacific Northwest – and one of the fastest growing law firms in the nation. PLG has been listed in the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the U.S. ,” and the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in Washington State ,” In addition, we were recently listed as “ the Fastest Growing Criminal Defense Law Firm in America” ( Law Firm 500, 2021) and " Fastest Growing Privately held company in the Pacific Region " (2024 Inc Regional).

Through an unwavering commitment to growth, to excellence both in business and in the courtroom, and to caring for each client experience as though they were our only client, we are building the Injury and Criminal Defense law firm of the future.

At Puget Law Group, we empower clients facing their darkest hours by delivering unwavering advocacy and pursuing justice. We strive to exceed expectations, secure the best possible outcomes, and restore hope. Our values of respect, inspiration, growth, hustle, and trust guide us in every transaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptionally skilled individual to join a dynamic legal team and contribute to the success of a fast-paced practice. We are also proud that two of our attorneys have gone on to become judges, a testament to the exceptional caliber of talent and leadership within our firm. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable, accountable, organized, work independently, be resourceful, and be an enthusiastic team member with an optimistic mindset, providing our clients with the best possible results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
As an Associate Attorney with PLG, you must be equally committed to and aligned with both our Vision and our Core Values. If you are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a team that is transforming the legal landscape, we invite you to explore opportunities with us.

At PLG, we don't just work cases—we fight for our clients with integrity, boldness, and innovation. You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing legal team, where we share knowledge, support each other in court, and uphold the highest levels of professionalism and client advocacy. We cover for each other in court when needed. This position will give you the unique opportunity to grow your experience and skill set as far and wide as you are able and willing. In due time, you will handle a busy caseload of criminal misdemeanors and, depending on experience, eventually (DOE) felonies, working diligently to maintain the high level of professionalism and client care that PLG has become known for.

Finally, you will be invited and encouraged to actively engage in creating content, and to participate in our marketing and branding efforts.

Our experienced and formidable team of criminal attorneys – including former prosecutors – have more combined experience than any criminal defense firm in the Northwest. This means you will have opportunities to learn and be mentored that simply do not exist anywhere else — and you will be expected to seek out those opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS :
2-5 (or more) years of experience handling criminal matters in Washington State’s District, Municipal, and Superior Courts.

Bilingual (especially Spanish or Korean) and/or former experience working as a prosecutor are a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION :
This full-time, salaried position is based in our Tacoma office with potential opportunity to work in our Seattle location.

Annual compensation ranges from $90,000 (base) to $150,000 (base+bonus). We offer outstanding benefits:

  • Immediate matching 401(k)
  • Health/Vision/Dental insurance
  • HSA
  • Parking
  • Professional membership
  • PTO
