Content and Communications Specialist

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410

Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)

About the Role

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Communications Specialist . You will gather information from stakeholders and subject matter experts, document processes and standards, and transform complex information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing content.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with team members, subject matter experts, and team members to collect information and document business processes and best practices.
• Develop concise, and easy-to-understand documentation that enhances the department's knowledge base.
• Tailor content to match the audience, and objectives.
• Create and edit articles highlighting team accomplishments, projects based on interviews and gathered insights.
• Apply appropriate taxonomy and metadata to organize content and ensure consistency.
• Help achieve team KPIs by producing content that creates engagement, awareness, participation, and knowledge sharing.
• Design professional graphics, visuals, and infographics to support documentation and articles.
• Create content for internal social media channels, digital signage, and other internal communication platforms.
• Develop short videos and visual assets to promote important messages and plans.
• Ensure all visuals follow our brand, style guide, and graphic specifications.
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
• Collaborate with teams to promote knowledge sharing and awareness of departmental plans.
• Coordinate and support internal events and campaigns that promote learning, engagement, and collaboration.
• Work within tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and maintain documentation.
• Prioritize deliverables with varying timeframes.
• Maintain a to ensure and quality in all deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field
• Experience creating written and visual content for internal communications, documentation, marketing, or knowledge‑sharing purposes..
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
