Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity serving PreK–6th grade students in a supportive environment in the northern suburbs of Denver. This role calls for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist or SLP Clinical Fellow ready to make a meaningful impact on a diverse student population with varying needs—from mild to severe. You’ll work at a single elementary site, managing a caseload of around 40 students, including 10 in PreK, and providing comprehensive evaluations, service notes, and direct therapy. When speech is the only IEP service, you’ll step in as case manager for those students.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP credential; advise on application status if not yet issued
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory
  • Experience with school-aged children, especially a range from PreK–6th grade and from mild to severe impairments, is preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Comfortable with a full-time, onsite schedule (no telepractice, hybrid, or SLPA roles)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and document evaluations
  • Deliver direct and individualized speech therapy to students
  • Maintain student records and complete service documentation
  • Case manage students whose only IEP service is speech, coordinating meetings and collaborating with other professionals
  • Participate in IEP processes and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • For Clinical Fellows, district provides supervision support

Enjoy professional growth while connecting with a welcoming staff and gaining hands-on experience in a close-knit district dedicated to student success. If you are passionate about making a difference and meet the requirements, submit your application today to start the interview process and help students reach their full potential!

Compensation for this position ranges from $37.73 to $57.73. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
