Job Description

Salary Range: $135k $155k (depending on experience)

A large, multi-site outpatient network in Queens and East Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its urology team within a high-volume ambulatory care environment. This role supports a patient-centered practice known for accessible, coordinated, and culturally attuned care.

The Physician Assistant will work as an integral member of the urology service, providing both independent and collaborative care in an outpatient setting. The clinician will evaluate, treat, and follow patients with a wide range of urologic concerns, partnering closely with attending physicians and the broader care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and routine urologic assessments.
• Assist with in-clinic procedures and diagnostic workflows, ensuring accurate preparation and documentation.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Manage results review, medication adjustments, and pre-/post-operative education when needed.
• Provide patient counseling related to treatment plans, testing, and ongoing condition management.
• Maintain clear, timely entries in the electronic health record.
• Contribute to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the urology practice and support quality improvement efforts.
• Coordinate referrals and help ensure continuity of care across service lines.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State license and certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of three (3) years of urology experience in a clinic or physician practice environment.
• Strong ability to work independently within an ambulatory care structure.
• Excellent communication, patient engagement, and clinical decision-making skills.
