Family Law Attorney
Job Title : Family Law Attorney
Location : Roseland, NJ
Salary Rate : $100,000 - $140,000

What You Will Do
- Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, alimony, paternity, and modification actions
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery requests, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to client goals
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution
- Prepare for and appear at hearings, trials, and conferences in Probate & Family Court
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and guide decision-making
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
- Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and documentation
- Advocate for clients with professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity
Required Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey.
- 5+ years of experience in family law or domestic relations litigation
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey family law statutes, procedures, and Probate & Family Court practices
- Excellent negotiation, litigation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to support clients through emotionally challenging situations
