Pathway Imaging is a patient-focused, state-of-the-art medical imaging center offering comprehensive care across multiple specialties, including ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other related services. Our integrated model allows patients to receive coordinated, efficient care in one location—eliminating unnecessary visits and improving outcomes.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented PRN Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to support our Sugar Land location on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts as applicable)
• Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to ensure image quality
• Verify patient identity and physician orders prior to procedures
• Identify and document anatomy and abnormalities for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, and staff
• Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

ARDMS certification required (AB, OB/GYN, RVT preferred)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
Strong knowledge of sonographic imaging and anatomy
Ability to work independently in a clinical setting

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday availability required
